Stump Grinding
Stump grinding is generally the fastest and most efficient way to remove a tree stump completely.
Before we start we make sure there are no underground pipes or cables. We then set up our worksite to prevent any damage to people or property including setting up protective shields to stop any flying debris exiting the worksite.
Our machines allow us to go through a 30" gate to access almost any yard and tackle any size stump with ease.

The Clean Up
Stump Grinding can be a very messy job but this is not a problem for us. Unlike many of our competitors, we have the equipment to remove the debris generated during the grinding process without leaving it in a pile on your property for you to now deal with.
We agree on how the site will be left with our clients before we start the work. As the tree stump is ground down with a stump grinder, the soil and wood mix becomes aerated and the piles of mulch produced are usually a lot larger than the tree stump once was.
Some of the mulch can be compacted back into the hole if the project allows or the mulch can be removed completely and we offer different options to suit most needs with clean-up and finish.

Stump Grinding Estimates
We offer free, onsite, written estimates and we do that because it's important for us to evaluate each project on it's own and consider all the hidden variables that go into an accurate quote; actual size of the stump, access, and desired finish to name a few.
OPTION 1. FULL CLEAN-UP
- We first level off the effected area with a soil mix generated during the grinding process followed by a thorough clean up.
- We haul away all stump grindings and debris from removing the stump.
- We can also bring in topsoil and finish the area with grass seed if you choose.
OPTION 2. PARTIAL CLEAN-UP
This process begins by placing some of the grindings back into the hole made from grinding, and then slightly packing it down. If appearance is less of a concern, then this is a process that works well for many people.
